The Barbering Program
At Barber Hussle the School, we prepare students for a professional career in barbering through a modern, flexible training model. Our program combines online coursework with hands-on practical training to teach essential barbering skills, including precision cutting, fades, tapers, shaving, grooming, and skincare.
The Barber Hussle program is a 1,500-hour training course, designed to be completed in approximately 9 months for full-time students.
Students also gain foundational knowledge in client relations, sanitation, and business management — equipping them to work in barbershops, start their own business, or grow within the barbering industry.

The Instructor Training & License
Are you a skilled barber with a passion for teaching and leadership? At Barber Hussle the School, our Instructor Training Program is designed to prepare licensed professionals to train and mentor the next generation of barbers. You’ll learn how to deliver theory-based instruction, evaluate student progress, manage classroom environments, and guide students toward passing the state board exam.

The 500-Hour Refresher Course
Has your barber license lapsed or do you need extra preparation to pass the state board exam? At Barber Hussle The School, our Minnesota State Board-approved 500-Hour Refresher Course is designed to help you get back on track.
Through hands-on practice and theory review, you'll sharpen your skills in haircutting, shaving, styling, and sanitation while preparing for both the written and practical licensing exams.
This course is ideal for barbers returning to the profession, graduates who need additional training before testing, or barbers educated outside Minnesota seeking state licensure.
